Description
The Lancia Fulvia Berlina (saloon) was introduced in 1963 and carried on in production until 1973, whilst the Fulvia Coupe went on until 1976.
The Fulvia Berlina 2C GT is in fact the rarest of the all the Lancia Fulvia Berlina’s, (not including the 1199cc Greek domestic market Fulvia saloons) and gained the name of GT because it was fitted with the V4 1216cc twin side draft carburettor engine that made its debut in the first Fulvia Coupe of 1965.
Lancia was a name synonymous with a certain quality of finish, style and dignity, and this car displays all these attributes.
Having a push button starter, door puddle lights, disc brakes all round, and superbly designed interior door handles these cars were endowed with elegance, and charm.
This Fulvia GT has been in dry storage for more than 12 years, and was lovingly cared for by its previous owner, as can be seen by the excellent condition of the paintwork and the interior, along with the unmarked state of the exterior trims and adornments.
This Berlina has now benefitted from a new clutch assembly, new brake calipers and pads, new tyres, many new suspension parts and bushes, a complete exhaust system, and a full service.
An absolutely superb example of a rare Lancia 2C GT really does need to be seen to be appreciated.
